About Us:

Children with neuromuscular disorders may function just as other children in the first months to years of life; however, may progress over their lifetime to loose muscle function to the point where they are unable to walk, sit or even breathe without assistance. These children need a great deal of assistance to just get through the day.

The founding members of the organization have developed a vested interest in children with neuromuscular disorders and their families over the years via multiple avenues. It has become clear to many that through small acts of generosity a large impact could be made in the lives of these children and their families. Although there are organizations that are already in place to assist these children and their families, there is still a large need.

There are various necessities, special leg braces, wheel chairs, ramps, car lifts and others things that the children and their families need that may not be covered by insurance. Do to the nature of their disease many children with neuromuscular diseases are very limited in their physical capabilities and do not get to experience some of the joys of a 'normal' childhood. It is our intention to provide this experience.
